Downtown Residents Association is taking their garage sale to the street for a flea market extravaganza. Come find what condo owners don't have room for. Between 12-5pm in Lynn Alley.

Movies on the Block

Starting in the late afternoon enjoy short and feature-length films by some of Columbus' best independent filmmakers.  Films by Matt Parker, Doug Curran, Matt Meindl, Mike Butcher, Jason Tostevin via Hands Off Media presented by Grip Technology and MOFA

alive! Dance Party
Enjoy the musical talents of DJs Charles Erickson and Lance Keeney (of The Clampdown) for the ultimate Dance Party 11 p.m. – 2 a.m. @ Due Amici and Tip Top. Be sure to check out the small art exhibits inside both venues, perfect to look at during a quick Dance Party breather.  All benefits from the alive! Dance Party go to The Mid-Ohio Food Bank.

Urban Street Market
Over 150 booths line Gay Street, Lynn Alley, and Pearl Alley and feature Columbus artists, organizations, and businesses. Check out the full list of participants in the street market.

Music and Performances
Several music stages and a handful of alternative venues feature Columbus' best musicians and performers, organized by the Columbus Music Co-op, Central City Recording, and Outer Sounds. Check out the full list of performers.

Taste the Best
Come taste what local restaurants have to offer. Dine Originals will be at the event showing off their local flavor. Tip Top, Deep Wood, Banana Bean, G Micheal's, Elevator, Pistachio Vera, Due Amici, Cotters, and Katzinger's, to name a few. Other vendors will be there as well, serving up their culinary creations.

Dunk a Roller Girl and Watch 'em Race
Stop by and take your best shot at dunking members of the Ohio Roller Girls. Don't worry; they won't skate after you once the tank is gone. After the dunking fun, catch zany races between your favorite roller derby league members!

Skylab and The Shelf
The kids on the block are the core of what this is all about. All day stop by 57 Gay St. to see the performances and art that grow right from the neighborhood. Artists Eva Ball and Dan Olsen will be creating an entry way sculpture for the building.  John Bennett will be doing a soundscape installation in the foyer. Dan Olsen will also be exhibiting his paintings on the 5th floor. Several performances will happen throughout the day. Check the schedule to find out who and when.

Hula Hoop Mania
Artist Aaron Hibbs goes for the gold, bringing Guinness to town in an attempt to break the world hula hoop record! Check out the Skylab 4th floor to see his progress. Limited access provided as to not disturb the process.
